LexTech- The Science Club of GNLU is organizing a Public Lecture\u00a0on the occasion of the National Science Day on\u00a0Science, Law and Society\u00a0on 25 February 2019 from 02:45 to 03:45 pm at GNLU. The Public Lecture will be delivered by Professor Dr Harish Padh, Professor Emeritus, GNLU.<\/p>\n

Prof.\u00a0Dr. Harish Padh,\u00a0\u00a0PhD (Biochemistry), University of Delhi; former Vice-Chancellor of Sardar Patel University; 17 years of teaching and research experience at\u00a0 various US universities – Temple University in Philadelphia, University of Chicago in Chicago and Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois; Assistant Director and Associate Professor at Northwestern University for Biotechnology; holder of various distinguished academic leadership and research positions – Professor of Biochemistry at M. S. University, Baroda; Director of B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education and Research Development (PERD) Centre, Ahmedabad; Project Director for NIPER. Main areas of research – Cell and Molecular Biology as applied to Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Prof. Padh’s latest research is\u00a0 the first \u2018Swadeshi\u2019 study to unravel the genome specific to Indians.<\/p>\n
