(1) These rules may be called the Central Government General Pool Residential Accommodation (Amendment) Rules, 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. In the Central Government General Pool Residential Accommodation Rules, 2017, in rule 33,\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(1) in clause (a), for sub-clauses (i) to (iv), the following shall be substituted, namely:\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201c(i) not exceeding three units in the case of Vice-President, Vice-President Secretariat;<br \/>\n(ii) not exceeding three units in the case of Chairman, Rajya Sabha;<br \/>\n(iii) not exceeding three units in the case of Speaker, Lok Sabha;<br \/>\n(iv) not exceeding three units in the case of Cabinet Minister;<br \/>\n(v) not exceeding two units in the case of Minister of State; and<br \/>\n(vi) not exceeding seven units in the case of Chief Justice of India;\u201d;<\/p>\n<p>(2) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cProvided further that the quota of remaining twelve General Pool Residential units for allotment on priority basis to the key officials working in the Vice-President Secretariat will continue to be made in one type below category.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Ministry of
