{"id":209585,"date":"2019-02-06T17:00:36","date_gmt":"2019-02-06T11:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=209585"},"modified":"2019-02-06T15:19:49","modified_gmt":"2019-02-06T09:49:49","slug":"central-government-notifies-rules-regulating-the-method-of-recruitment-to-group-b-and-c-posts-in-armourer-cadre-in-indo-tibetan-border-police-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2019\/02\/06\/central-government-notifies-rules-regulating-the-method-of-recruitment-to-group-b-and-c-posts-in-armourer-cadre-in-indo-tibetan-border-police-force\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Government notifies Rules regulating the method of recruitment in Armourer Cadre in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>G.S.R. 85(E)\u2014<\/strong>In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 156 of the <strong>Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992<\/strong> (35 of 1992), and in supersession of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Armourer Cadre (Group \u2018B\u2019 &amp; \u2018C\u2019 posts), Recruitment Rules, 2010, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the <strong>Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to Group \u2018B\u2019 and \u2018C\u2019 posts in Armourer Cadre in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force<\/strong>, namely:\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1.<\/strong> <strong>Short title and commencement\u2014<\/strong>(1) These rules may be called the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Armourer Cadre (Group \u2018B\u2019 and \u2018C\u2019 posts), Recruitment Rules, 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2.<\/strong> <strong>Application\u2014<\/strong>These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix\u2014<\/strong>The number of said post, their classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Method of recruitment, age-limit and other qualifications, etc.\u2014<\/strong>The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto, shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5. Disqualification\u2014<\/strong> No person, \u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 appointment to the said post :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>6. Medical Fitness\u2014<\/strong>Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, only those persons who are in medical category SHAPE-I, shall be eligible for appointment under the provisions of
