Our printing and distributing partner is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebcwebstore.com\/product_info.php?products_id=7038\">Eastern Book Company\u00a0Group<\/a>, one of India\u2019s most prominent law publishers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was founded with the objective of creating an inter-disciplinary forum to analyse legal issues through the prism of other social sciences. Breaking the barriers of compartmentalised legal discussions, the Journal encourages cross-disciplinary approaches for a better understanding of law and legal systems within India. Thus, it aims to contribute significantly to the fields of both social sciences and law and especially the sociology of law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The journal invites original submissions by students or academicians\/ professionals,\u00a0 which will be evaluated by independent referees on the basis of their quality of inter-disciplinary research and contribution to reshaping legal views from a law and society perspective.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nature of Submissions<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Single authorship and co-authorship (to the extent of 2 authors; but\u00a0not\u00a0wrt book reviews or case comments) are allowed by the Journal. Author\/s may submit papers based on either of the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Articles (8000-10000 words, inclusive of footnotes)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Book Reviews (2000-2500 words, inclusive of footnotes)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notes (5000-8000 words, inclusive of footnotes)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Essays (3000-5000 words, inclusive of footnotes)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Case Comments (2000-3000 words, inclusive of footnotes)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Legislative Briefs (2000 \u2013 3000 words, inclusive of footnotes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Style Guidelines<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Form of Submission:\u00a0Submissions must be in electronic form. All submissions must be word-processed, single-spaced in Garamond, font size 12 and justified. The prescribed word limits are inclusive of footnotes. However we do not emphasise on strict compliance with the word count.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:\u00a0All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 250 words describing the relevant conclusions drawn in the paper. There is no requirement of prior submission of the abstract.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Citations:\u00a0Only footnotes may be used as the form of citations. End notes shall not be accepted. All footnotes must be in Garamond, size 10, single-spacing and justified.\u00a0The citation standard to be followed is the NUJS Law Review Citation (that can be accessed\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nujslawreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/NUJS-Citation-Standard-1st-Edition.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer noreferrer\"
