It includes specific sessions on entertainment contracts, negotiation skills, entertainment disputes and resolution. Mr. Sanjeeth Hegde, Senior Partner at BananaIP and\u00a0 Ms. Anchita Sharma, Intellectual Property Attorney at BananaIP will be our esteemed resource persons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>COURSE OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">a. To provide an understanding of IP and other related laws relevant to the entertainment industry;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">b. To give an insight into entertainment contracts, the basic clauses\u00a0 in such contracts, and the most negotiated terms; and c. To provide an understanding of common disputes and their resolution options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Themes for the sessions:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Basics of Entertainment Law &#8211; Understanding Copyrights, Trademarks and other important laws;<br \/>\n2. Understanding different contracts such as artist agreements, film contracts and license;<br \/>\n3. Conceptual Understanding and Legal Analysis of Risk Clearances;<br \/>\n4. Publicity rights and related issues;<br \/>\n5. Content Licensing and Merchandising;<br \/>\n6.
