Being a public domain activist, Dr. Malamud is also the founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/public.resource.org\/\">Public.Resource.Org<\/a>, a California-based NGO. Public Resource has been working intensively in India, including an effort to make available all Indian Standards for free on the net, an issue that is the subject of Public Interest Litigation suit in the High Court of Delhi. Dr. Malamud has authored over 8 books and has also worked closely with the Obama administration.\u00a0In his lecture he also covered issues relating to implementation of Aadhar and data protection. Please find attached a brief profile of the speaker. Dr. Malamud\u00a0 addressed the students on \u2018access to (all) knowledge\u2019 and also made a comparison between the treatment of the \u2018edicts of government\u2019 under the U.S and Indian
