Supreme Court: <\/strong>The Bench comprising of Rohinton Fali Nariman and Indu Malhotra, JJ., delivered its order in regard to the allowance of outside food in the Jammu and Kashmir cinema halls and multiplexes, for which the High Court had given a direction affirming the same, the Supreme Court bench restrained the same direction.<\/p>\n

The PIL which dealt with the issue was of Sidharth Anand v. State of J&K<\/strong>, PIL No.11 of 2018<\/strong> in which the high court had disposed of the PIL by giving several directions in which one of the directions was \u201cMultiplexes\/Cinema Halls Owners of the State of J&K are directed not to prohibit cinema goers\/viewers henceforth from carrying his\/her own food articles and water inside the theatre<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Supreme Court stayed the stated direction of the impugned judgment of the High Court, directed the matter to be listed after 6 weeks. [Multiplex Assn. of India v.
