Institute of Law, Nirma University was awarded the\u00a0 IP Campus of the Year 2018 by Intellectual Property Protection Organization Pvt. Ltd. (IPPO), one of the prominent organization working for creation and dissemination of IP Knowledge, in IPFEST 2018 held on 3rd August, 2018 at Renaissance Hotel by Mariott, Ahmedabad. Institute of Law, Nirma University was given the award under the category of IP Campus of the Year (Legal)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Intellectual Property Protection Organization (IPPO), is a knowledge sharing and training arm in Intellectual Property with over 15 years of expertise in the domain. It is committed towards raising awareness about the Intellectual Property framework highlighting opportunities that hold and attract youth to the subject of IP, its needs and the challenges. Its focus of IP awareness has been directed at entrepreneurs, creators, individuals and start-ups.<\/p>\n

The IP Fest had participation from various colleges including Gujarat National Law University United World School of Law, Gujarat and Silver Oak Engineering college to name a few.<\/p>\n

The Fest had various eminent speakers such as Mr. Ankit Chona, Managing Director Havmor, Mr. Munish Sudan, Head IP and External Research Collaborations Tata Steel, Prof Anurag K. Agarwal, Faculty Business Policy Area IIM Ahmedabad to name a few. The fest comprised of panel discussions on various contemporary topics with a surprise element of some music performed by the Gujarat Association of Harmonica which indeed added the cherry on the cake. The fest came to an end with an IP Quiz which was moderated by Quizmaster Sanjay Chakraborty.<\/p>\n
