In a suit brought by the Belgian Privacy Commission, the Court observed that Facebook had broken privacy laws by tracking people on third-party sites and by informing the users insufficiently about gathering information about the users,<br \/>\nThe Court also ruled that Facebook must delete all data it had gathered illegally on Belgian citizens, including people who were not Facebook users
