The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transferred Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court and directed him to assume charge of the office of the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court on or before 20th February, 2018.<\/p>\n
