It will examine the following themes:<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u00b7 Efficacy of Affirmative Action in Achieving Gender Equality and Goal 5 of the SDGs<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u00b7 Affirmative Action for Women and Human Rights Law<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u00b7 Reservation Policies v. Preference Policies<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u00b7 Intersectionality: Situating Caste, Class and Race in the Affirmative Action dialogue<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u00b7 Affirmative Action in Non-Political Institutions<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u00b7 Affirmative Action: Strategies for Mobilisation<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The conference will be held on\u00a022nd- 23rd September, 2018\u00a0at Tamil Nadu National Law University in Tiruchirappalli, India.\u00a0The conference will run over the 2 days with parallel sessions in the morning, afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Due to the limited finances available for the conference, participants are expected to secure own funds for airfare and accommodation.
