The resource person for the seminar will be\u00a0Mr. Steve Wood.<\/p>\n
About the Resource Person: <\/strong>Mr. Steve Wood is a Principal Lecturer who has been lecturing at Leeds Beckett for 14 years. His specialist interest is terrorism and he is currently researching its impact on passenger experience in the aviation industry. Mr. Steve previously owned his own business offering employment law services to employees and employers. In 2000, he decided to change direction and go into teaching which he has been doing ever since. He has been an external examiner at a number of Universities. He has now been lecturing at Leeds Law School for 14 years. During that time Steve was Programme Director for the LLB programme for five years and for two years Subject Leader of the Commercial Law Group. He specialises in the law and policy relating to terrorism, which he currently teaches to undergraduate students, as well as employment law and public law. He is researching the impact of terrorism on passengers in the aviation sector.<\/p>\n Mr. Steve is interested in transnational education and he has recruited and taught students around the world, including Brazil, Columbia, India, China, Vietnam and the Philippines. Mr. Steve is currently teaching Counter Terrorism, UK Anti-Terrorism Law and Policy, Public Law and Employment Law. He is currently undertaking a PhD researching terrorism in the aviation sector and its impact on the experience of passengers. He has spoken about the subject at conferences, in the press and on television nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n Mr. Steve has several publications to his name including Lambourne, T. and Wood, S.M.
