{"id":159914,"date":"2017-10-03T13:56:01","date_gmt":"2017-10-03T08:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=159914"},"modified":"2017-10-03T13:56:01","modified_gmt":"2017-10-03T08:26:01","slug":"call-for-papers-rmlnlu-law-review-volume-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2017\/10\/03\/call-for-papers-rmlnlu-law-review-volume-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Papers:  RMLNLU Law Review [Volume 8]"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The RMLNLU Law Review is the annual, peer-reviewed, student-edited journal published by the students of Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, and is pleased to announce the call for papers for its Volume 8.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Journal accepts submissions in the form of:<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a) Articles<\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b) Essays<\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">c) Case notes\/comments<\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">d) Book Reviews,<\/div>\n<div>from law students all over the country and abroad. The submissions may be on any contemporary legal issue with a prescribed word limit of 4000-5000 words (excluding abstract, whose word limit is prescribed in the guidelines that follow, and footnotes, wherein speaking footnotes must be avoided wherever possible).<\/div>\n<div>Each of these entries will be required to conform to the set of guidelines which follow.<\/div>\n<div><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The entry must be typewritten.<\/div>\n<div>Font: Times New Roman,<\/div>\n<div>Font size 12,<\/div>\n<div>Line spacing 2.0<\/div>\n<div>Alignment: Justified<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The citations must be typewritten in:<\/div>\n<div>Font: Times New Roman<\/div>\n<div>Font size: 10<\/div>\n<div>Line spacing: 1<\/div>\n<div>Alignment: Not justified.<\/div>\n<div>Citation style must adhere to the OSCOLA method (4th Edition).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The submission must include an abstract of 250-300 words, with the author(s)\u2019 name and college as a footnote. However, the inclusion of the same is not mandatory.<\/div>\n<div><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>HOW TO SUBMIT<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The submissions may be emailed to in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.<\/div>\n<div>The attached submission in the email, i.e., the file name must bear the names of the author(s).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>CO-AUTHORSHIP<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Co-Authorship to maximum two members is allowed. However, co-authorship is not allowed in \u201cbook reviews\u201d and \u201ccase notes\/comments\u201d.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>COPYRIGHT<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The submissions for the Journal must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.<\/div>\n<div>The contributions presented to and accepted for publication and the copyrights therein shall be the intellectual property of the Law review.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>SUBMISSION DEADLINE<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The deadline for submission is <b>October 28th, 2017<\/b> (11:59 pm).<\/div>\n<div>Cover letters are to be sent in the body of the email.
