The GNLU Centre for Public International Law is organizing the second edition of GNLU Academy on Air and Space Law (GASLA) as a platform for engaging in discourse on contemporary legal issues in the field of Air and Space Law.<\/p>\n
About GASLA:\u00a0<\/strong>States are exhibiting increasingly keen interest in augmenting\u00a0investments in developing their capabilities and competences in the\u00a0air as well as space. Non-State actors, including private investors are\u00a0no exceptions to this emerging trend. It is becoming evidently clear\u00a0that supremacy in air and space is set to define international relations\u00a0in the years to come. Recognizing the potential of these\u00a0developments, the GNLU Centre for Public International Law has\u00a0conceived the GNLU Academy on Air and Space Law (GASLA) as a\u00a0platform for engaging in discourse on contemporary legal issues in\u00a0these fields. The first edition of GASLA was successfully conducted\u00a0between 14 and 23 September 2016, in collaboration with the Institute\u00a0of Air and Space Law, University of Cologne and the Forum for\u00a0Integrated National Security. Encouraged by the success of the first\u00a0edition, the GNLU Centre for Public International Law is organizing the\u00a0second edition of GASLA from 16 September to 22 September 2017.<\/p>\n About the Academy:<\/strong>\u00a0The GNLU Centre for Public International Law, in collaboration with the Institute of Air and Space Law, University of Cologne, Germany (the oldest Air Institute of the world), is organizing the second edition of the Air and Space Law Academy from\u00a016th\u00a0\u00a0to 22nd\u00a0September, 2017 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
