Ministry of Railways has decided to incorporate\u00a0downloaded<\/strong>\u00a0Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) also as prescribed proof of identity at par with\u00a0printed\u00a0<\/b>Aadhaar Card during travel. With this the\u00a0complete list\u00a0now of prescribed proofs of identity which are valid for undertaking journey in any reserved class on Indian Railways is given below:<\/div>\n
\n
\n

\u00a0i) Voter Photo Identity Card by Election Commission of India.<\/p>\n

ii) Passport.<\/p>\n

iii) PAN Card issued by Income Tax Department.<\/p>\n

iv) Driving License issued by RTO.<\/p>\n

v) Photo Identity Card having serial number issued by Central\/State Government.<\/p>\n

vi) Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognised School\/College for their students.<\/p>\n

vii) Nationalised Bank Passbook with photograph.<\/p>\n

viii) Credit Cards issued by Banks with laminated photograph.<\/p>\n

ix) Printed unique identification card \u201cAadhaar\u201d or\u00a0downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar).<\/b><\/p>\n

x) Ration Card with photograph of passenger travelling.<\/p>\n
