In it&#8217;s affidavit, NCTE is asked\u00a0to clarify\u00a0the meaning of weightage given to these teachers in order to decide\u00a0whether the recruitment is to\u00a0be made on the basis of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) merit or not.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The matter relates to\u00a099,000 assistant teachers of Uttar Pradesh primary school, class 1 to 5 and class 6 to 8
