The\u00a0Journal of Legal Studies\u00a0(NLUD-JLS) is National Law University, Delhi\u2019s flagship journal. Formerly known as the NLUD Student Law Journal, it is an annual student-edited, peer-reviewed law journal, which seeks to provide a forum for engaging in discussions on varied issues of contemporary importance in domestic and international law and policy. The aim of the journal is to encourage scholarship and research in all areas of the law and its relationship with other disciplines in order to analyse crucial developments in the legal field.
\nThe Editorial Board is pleased to invite scholarly submissions from students, academicians, practitioners and other researchers for the inaugural issue of the journal. The Board would also be pleased to accept submissions from\u00a0students of NLU Delhi as it\u00a0would provide a great avenue for having home-grown research published in a flagship journal.
\nSubmissions are invited under the categories of\u00a0articles,\u00a0essays,\u00a0case notes,\u00a0legislative comments\u00a0and\u00a0book reviews. Authors are encouraged to select themes that are of contemporary relevance and have an issue of law to be engaged with analytically. Papers dealing with foreign themes, in any of the above categories, should also engage with its relevance in the Indian context.
\nCo-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors. Submissions are accepted only in electronic form and must be submitted via e-mail to\u00a0nludslj@nludelhi.ac.in<\/a>. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is\u00a015 March, 2017.<\/p>\n
