Advocates-on-Record Examination, 2021

Supreme Court of India notifies that the Advocates-on-Record Examination, 2021 which was earlier scheduled to be held on 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th June, 2021, has been re-scheduled for 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December, 2021.

Further, the Court notified that,

“In order to ensure the safety and well-being of the candidates and the examination functionaries, the Competent Authority is of the view that it will be appropriate that the candidates desirous to appear in the Advocates-on-Record Examination should have taken both doses of COVID-19 Vaccine.”

Adding to the above, it has been directed that the candidates must intimate the Registry as to whether they have been administered both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine, through email at advocate-on-record@sci.nic.in. latest by 17-11-2021.

In case the candidates do not intimate as stated above, then it shall be presumed that he/she has not been vaccinated and his/her seating arrangement in the examination hall will be arranged accordingly.
