Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs is organising the Librarian Leadership Summit 2018 on September 15, 2018 at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA in association with International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions and Ranganathan Society for Social Welfare and Library Development.
About Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs: IICA an autonomous institute, works under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It delivers opportunities for research, education, and advocacy. It is also a think tank that curates a repository of data and knowledge for policy makers, regulators as well as other stakeholders working in the domain of corporate affairs. Panel Discussions
Distinctive Positioning for the Future Librarians: The panel of leaders shares how they are dealing with changes in the world: their strategies, practices and plans for the future. This panel session will involve a free-flowing discussion that may cover a wide range of issues, including but not limited to: professional identity, leadership outside of a management role, the role of leadership and/or mentorship on one’s career trajectory, re-skilling, (re)engagement with the profession, reinvention, barriers and strategies, the question of self-determination within the confines of an organization, and how to push from the middle. Audience may get a quantum of time for interaction and discussion.
