ILNU team comprising of Jaya Singh, Piyush Swami and Rishabh Rela was declared winners of the 14th Nani Palkhivala Memorial Tax Moot Court Competition. Theme of the competition was International Taxation. The Team qualified for the memorial selection rounds where only top 16 teams were selected.
Further they went to the competition where the team defeated NLS, Bangalore in preliminary rounds, Jamia Milia Islamia in quarterfinals, Amity Law School, Delhi in semi-finals and Army Institute of Law, Mohali in the finals. In addition to this, Jaya Singh was adjudicated as the Second Best Speaker in the competition.
