Ms. Sagarika Ghose would be delivering a talk on ‘Liberal Democracy in the Era of Elected Autocrats’ as part of Nalsar Public Policy series on 17th March.  Sagarika Ghose is a renowned journalist who has worked with Times of India, Indian Express and Outlook. She was also the deputy editor of the news network CNN-IBN.

In 2013, she was awarded the Best News Anchor award by Indian Television Academy. She is currently serving as the consulting editor at The Times of India.  Ms. Ghose will primarily be speaking on how liberal democracy is being undermined by a range of elected autocrats, thus ushering a new era of illegal democracy. The talk will be held at the M.K. Nambiar SAARC LAW Centre from 5 pm to 6 pm.
