The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet(ACC) clears appointment of NS Vishwanathan as Deputy Governor of RBI.
Vishwanathan has been an Executive Director at Reserve Bank of India since April 2014. He has served as a Director of Punjab National Bank from 2012 till 2013. He was also nominee director at Dena Bank Ltd. from May 30, 2011 to September 6, 2012.
