Human Rights Day(“HRD”), celebrated worldwide, marks the formulation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (“UDHR”). ILS Law College, Pune, has been formally celebrating this day at the college level.
In the academic year 2015-16, the theme of the celebration is “Rights of the Disabled and the Aged People”. The celebration is open to all the students of ILS Law College, Pune. The Celebration will be marked by cultural performances, i.e., group dance, band performance and a drama and an interactive presentation on the laws governing the ‘Rights of the Disabled and Aged People’ to portray and convey the message, in a light fashion, that rights do not retire with age or vanish with disability.
